The Facebook post often has a URL at the bottom that does not link back to the official Kroger website.
The grocery store warns its customers not to even click on the coupon link, and to avoid providing personal information to these websites. It could be an easy way for thieves to steal your information during this busy holiday season.
On this week a year ago, we told you about three coupons that targeted shoppers at Aldi, H-E-B, and again, Kroger.
All three coupons were confirmed as fakes.
