Emus separated from their owner will be cared for at Moody Gardens

GALVESTON ISLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- The owner of emus called animal control and reported that the animals had belonged to his mother.

When she passed away, he brought them to Galveston Island with him.

They are now being cared for at Moody Gardens.
