HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- When most people think of the Super Bowl, they imagine watching the game with a drink.

Eyewitness News has learned that one Houston bar sold enough drinks Super Bowl weekend to cover their expenses for the next three years.

The Houston Business Journal reports the big hotels downtown, at NRG and the Toyota Center brought in the biggest alcohol sales in February, with every place making way more than they did in February 2016.

But one tiny Washington Avenue bar wasn't far behind.

Underdogs Sports Pub made more than $745,000 on liquor and beer during Super Bowl LI week in Houston. That's more than three times the amount they normally make in an entire year.

Underdogs told Houston Business Journal they supplied alcohol at multiple places, like Club Nomadic.
