Woman shot in the head in southwest Houston, police say

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police are investigating after a woman was shot in the head in southwest Houston.

The shooting happened around 9:08 p.m. in the 9000 block of Bellaire Boulevard.

Police are attempting to locate the woman, after she was reportedly being transported privately to a nearby hospital.
