Woman gives package thieves cat poop

SAN FRANCISCO, California (KTRK) -- A woman fed up with package thieves is leaving surprises for them, courtesy of her cat.

Cameo Wood says she's had 50 packages stolen. Six were stolen in less than 24 hours between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

So Wood took matters into her own hands - or as she says - litter scoop. With the help of her cat Koo Koo, she left special gifts for the thieves.

"If they steal it, they deserve it!" Wood said.

The thefts have all happened while she was at home.

She says the police told her they couldn't do much about it other than suggest she have her mail sent elsewhere or pick it up at the post office.
