Woman escapes vehicle after flipping into water filled ditch

SPRING, TX (KTRK) -- A woman was lucky to escape her vehicle with only minor injuries after she ran off the road and into a water filled ditch during Sunday's storm.

It happened on Rhodes Road just off FM 2920 in Spring. The woman says her vehicle slid off the road, flipped over into the ditch and went under water. She was able to roll her window down and escape.

Several drivers stopped and helped her out of the ditch. She only had minor injuries to her face and didn't even go to the hospital.
