Superheroes spotted cleaning windows at Houston's Hotel Derek

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- When some window washers showed up for work on a typical Wednesday, they brought a little something extra to their job.

Dangling over the side of a building to clean the windows isn't a easy thing to do, but these guys go above and beyond their designated duties. "The Avengers" may be hitting the big screen, but Batman, Superman, and The Flash are hitting the 15-story Hotel Derek with squeegees.

"Fear not, there is no evil villains lurking in H-Town, we're just cleaning our windows so our valued guests get the bests views of the Galleria and Downtown Houston," said Chris Richardson, Hotel Derek Director of Engineering. "We wanted to do something fun instead of the same old boring window washing crew, so why not get superheroes that are out-of-this world? Not to mention, it gives Houstonians something fun to look at while sitting in traffic on 610 West Loop!"

Houston-based Green Team Services, fresh off cleaning the exterior of Houston's 8th wonder of the world, the Astrodome, is the window washing company providing their services and superheroes to Hotel Derek.
