ONE MINUTE WEATHER: Record cold in Houston today

EMBED </>More Videos

It's going to be cloudy and cool today.

More record cold high temperatures are in the forecast today. Thick clouds and a north wind will keep those temperatures in the low-to-mid 60s, which is closer to our average lows for the time of year. The record cold high to beat today is 67 degrees set in 1919.

Less rain is expected today, but drizzle and mist are still possible off-and-on during the day. The deepest moisture will flow from the Gulf into the middle Texas coast.

Rain chances increase a little on Thursday and even more on Friday and Saturday. Once the rain stops, a cool front will move through and finally give us a little sunshine on Sunday. High temperatures will remain below normal over the next 10 days with another stormy weather system on the way next week.
