Ho, ho, ho! Santa visits the Alamo as snow falls in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KTRK) -- Even Santa remembers the Alamo!

Before the snow hit Houston, flakes fell across other parts of Texas, including San Antonio.

Jolly old St. Nick says he was so delighted by the flurries, he just had to see them for himself.

Santa also mentioned that he wanted to spread some holiday spirit and Christmas joy in the city.

The snow did have another effect in San Antonio. It caused about 88,000 people to lose power.
