Houston-area flood maps: How your area is affected

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Take a look at how areas were affected across the Houston area, from inundated areas in Wharton to the San Jacinto River.

The map shows the extent of the flooding expected in Humble along the West Fork of the San Jacinto River - and this assumes no more rain falls in the next 5 days. Residents downstream of Lake Houston in Banana Bend and Rio Villa should also expect to be cut off from access in and out of their neighborhoods.

Please note, despite rumors, there is no mandatory evacuation in effect for Simonton, according to the city.
