Nearly six months after Hurricane Harvey, Texas climatologists have set up a website asking for your help.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- You don't need a degree in science or meteorology to help improve hurricane research.

You can be a citizen scientist.

The state's climatologist office is looking for rainfall observations made during Hurricane Harvey to help determine the effects of the storm on both Texas residents and the environment.

All you have to do is complete an online survey that takes about 15 minutes.
