HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- UPDATE: A mandatory evacuation was issued late Monday for residents near the Inverness Forest levee.

A voluntary evacuation has been issued for residents in the Inverness Forest subdivision in north Harris County.

Officials believe water levels will reach the top of the levee by Monday morning.

Residents north of Kingsbridge Rd. should seek higher ground tonight, officials said.
