Officials respond after vehicle crashes through fence, lands in pond

The Waller County Sheriff's Office is investigating after a driver crashed into a pond near Giboney Road and Spring Hill Road on Sunday night.

The sheriff's office says the driver did not stop at an intersection and crashed through a fence, landing in a pond.

It is unclear if the driver escaped safely. A dive team was called to the scene.
