TSA fees on your plane tickets going up

Transportation Security Administration fees on plane tickets are now higher.

The new fee is now $5.60 for all flights. Any connection longer than four hours will count as a separate flight.

The old fee was $2.50 for a non-stop flight and $5 for a connecting flght.

Travelers taking non-stop flights or long layovers will take the biggest hit.
