Worker on stretcher pulled from work site at Pearland school

PEARLAND, Texas (KTRK) -- SkyEye flew over the campus of Pearland Junior High School East, where firefighters pulled a worker out of a trench.

The man was working on utilities when he fell in the trench. He wasn't trapped or stuck in the trench, but was injured and couldn't get out.

Firefighters lifted the worker out of the hole on Tuesday afternoon.

His injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to be okay.

The campus is located just off Old Alvin Road.
