Summer is nearly over, but it's never too early to start thinking about the next big vacation, right?

Some hotels around the world are destinations unto themselves. You may not have to leave once you arrive!

Travel website oyster.com put together this list, in no particular order.

We start at Fond Doux Holiday Plantation in St. Lucia where there are just 11 cottages on the property, set among coconut groves and cocoa trees. It's pretty rustic, with no TV, wifi or air conditioning, so a week at this cocoa plantation isn't for everyone.

Next we head to Rome and the Donna Camilla Savelli hotel. The hotel was built in the 17th century as a monastery, but now features marble floors and antique furniture.

From Rome, we head to Long Island, New York and the Oheka Castle hotel and estate. It was built in the 1920's as a private home, but is now run as a hotel with 32 rooms and 23 acres of gardens.

Finally, ever wanted to live the life of a cowboy? Head to Tucson, Arizona and the Tanque Verde ranch. There are plenty of opportunities to ride horses, swim and mountain bike at this all-inclusive resort.

Those are just four of the hotels and resorts featured. For another seven travel gems, visit abcnews.com.
