"Yeah, it was crazy," said one onlooker.

The accident happened in the 600 block of Blue Bell Road at the North Freeway. Eyewitness Cruz Hernandez said the flatbed truck, which was filled with pipe, lost control and hit the back of the box truck. The impact then forced the box truck to make a right turn out of the middle lane, according to Houston police.

"When the box truck turned, it flipped," Hernandez told Eyewitness News.

The truck smashed a Honda waiting at a stop sign and a Cadillac behind it. Hernandez first stopped to help. Then he recorded the scene. His video showed the driver of the Honda with blood on her head but able to walk away. The driver of the Cadillac was also on his feet. They went to the hospital with minor injuries. The box truck driver was not injured.

"I was really amazed. Of all the people involved, God was really watching over each of them," said Hernandez, a minister at a nearby church.

The driver of the flatbed truck will be cited with failure to control speed, according to police.
