Traffic delays expected for Astros home playoff games
HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- If you're headed to the Astros game, you may want to watch out for extra traffic near Minute Maid Park.
Expect delays near Discovery Green, Avenida Houston, and the ballpark.
After the game consider taking Capitol straight west out of downtown and use Memorial Drive.
If you are headed to Minute Maid, download the ParkHouston App to pay for metered parking. Also, check out Downtown Houston's interactive map to locate open garages and parking lots.
Consider parking further away and use the Greenlink circulator to access the ballpark. The Orange and Green routes provide service near Minute Maid Park.
Getting a ride with Lyft, Uber, Z-trip yellow cab is also a great option for a safe ride, and it helps reduce the number of cars on the road.
