Police close all lanes Hwy 249 SB at Hollister after deadly accident

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A pedestrian has died after they were struck by a car in northwest Houston.

The accident happened around 4:30am at Highway 249 near Hollister. Police say the victim died at the scene.

All southbound lanes of Highway 249 have now been closed as police investigate the accident.

There is no word on the driver.
