North Freeway SB lanes reopen following fiery wreck

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The North Freeway was shut down in both directions for a while following a fiery wreck at North Shepherd.

The accident happened just before 2pm and the accident was cleared after 3pm.

There were at least two vehicles involved in the accident. According to authorities, the individuals in the burning car were able to get out and were transported to the hospital in an ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
