Flipped box truck blocking SH-288 outbound at Reed Road

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The southbound lanes of SH-288 at Reed Road are shut down after a box truck flipped on the highway.

Traffic is being diverted off the highway right now. This, as you can imagine, is causing major delays.

Crews have the truck upright once again. Traffic is moving slowly along the shoulder, in the meantime.

There is no indication how long the highway will be blocked.
