Fiery 18-wheeler crash and hazmat spill block part of Highway 225 in southeast Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A fiery 18-wheeler crash and hazmat spill has shut down part of Highway 225 westbound between Scarborough and Allen Genoa Road in southeast Houston.

Two lanes are now open.

Expect heavy delays in the area. Drivers are urged to take an alternate route.
