Driver runs after causing fiery crash on North Beltway

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- All eastbound lanes of the North Beltway near Eastex freeway reopened after a fiery five vehicle crash.

The crash was reported around 1 a.m. this morning.

Houston Firefighters were called to clean up the area. A vehicle fire was extinguished.

According to authorities, the driver that caused the accident took off from the scene.

That driver has not been located.

The scene is under investigation.
