All lanes of SW Freeway back open after morning wreck

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- A serious accident involving a big rig and two other vehicles blocked multiple lanes of the Southwest Freeway at Buffalo Speedway today

The wreck that occurred at about 11am had three northbound lanes and all feeder lanes of the freeway blocked. According to TxDOT, the 18-wheeler hit the concrete barrier and guard rail, coming to rest on its side, and was leaking motor oil and diesel fuel. HazMat cleaned up the spill and by 2pm, the freeway was opened back up.

No injuries have been reported.
