Blind Texas Southern University law student set to graduate on Friday.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A Texas Southern student, who has been defying the odds his entire life, will graduate Friday from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law.

Daniel Vaughn is blind and has had six brain surgeries. Even with what most would consider a setback, Vaughn is graduating in the top 10 percent of his class.

TSU's hooding ceremony will take place at 6:30 p.m.
