Texas Southern's Derrick Griffin, Texas A&M's Ricky Seals-Jones preparing for NFL Draft

HOUSTON, TX (KTRK) -- Derrick Griffin, Texas Southern's dual-sport athlete, is leaving the basketball team to prepare for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Throughout the Tigers football season, he showed big play potential at receiver before he was dismissed from the team for violating rules.

Texas A&M's Ricky Seals-Jones announced he is declaring for the draft. Injuries hampered his play this season but no one is denying his talents on the gridiron.
