Teen who vanished from Houston CPS center has been found

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A 17-year-old girl who disappeared earlier this month in Houston has been located and is safe.

Officials said Petra Alvarez was last seen Aug. 14 as she left the CPS center at 6300 Chimney Rock.

Authorities have confirmed on Aug. 28 that Petra has been located and safely returned to her home. No other details have been made public.
