Teen shot during fight over fireworks on New Year's Day in northwest Harris County

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Deputies say a 16-year-old was shot after a fight over fireworks in northwest Harris County.

Shots were fired around 12:45 a.m. just off Brush Hollow near Spears Road.

The teen was taken to the hospital, and is expected to be OK.

No one is in custody.
