Teen shot by robbers for his shoes in N. Harris Co.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A teenager who was held up at gunpoint for his shoes was taken to the hospital Friday night.

Authorities said the shooting happened in the area of Northaire and North Bend drives.

The victim was shot in the chest, but is expected to be OK, according to law enforcement.

A search is underway for two people in connection to the robbery.
