Dickinson HS student charged with sharing sex video on social media

DICKINSON, Texas (KTRK) -- An 18-year-old Dickinson High School student has been charged with sharing a sex video on social media.

Ryan Crowson has been charged with publishing intimate visual materials. He is accused of sharing a video of his ex-girlfriend engaged in a sexual act on Snapchat.

According to court documents, an assistant principal at the school notified police of the video.

The girl told school officials that she knew Crowson was recording, but was "under the impression he was not going to show anyone else," documents stated.

Crowson is out of jail on $5,000 bond.
