TACOMA, WA (KTRK) -- Some people go to creative lengths to drive in HOV lane, but for officers in Washington state, this story takes the cake.

Troopers pulled over a driver in Tacoma who had a doll that looked like a zombie baby buckled into the passenger seat, WPTV reports.

The driver was ticketed $136 for using his spooky passenger to gain access to the HOV lane.

At least he was in the Halloween spirit.
