Man rode motorcycle inside home during bizarre SWAT standoff in west Houston

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Police faced a bizarre SWAT standoff in west Houston on Wednesday night. Police say a man rode a motorcycle around the inside of his house and blared loud music.

According to police, it all started with the man holding his girlfriend at knife point.

The man barricaded himself inside a home on North Wilcrest Drive and threatened to kill himself.

Before the end of the standoff, the girlfriend escaped. The man eventually came out and was arrested.
