Deputies in SWAT standoff with barricaded suspect

BAYTOWN, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office is in a SWAT standoff with a man they say is barricaded inside his Baytown home.

The scene is unfolding in the 4400 block of Crossvine Avenue.

Deputies are in a SWAT standoff with a suspect who has barricaded himself in a bathroom.

According to the suspect's girlfriend, he suffers from PTSD and has not taken his medication. She said he is holed up in a bathroom with a shotgun, but has not harmed anybody and is speaking with a negotiator.

No other details have been released.
