Police search for suspects throwing bowling balls at passing cars

ST. LOUIS, Missouri (KTRK) -- Police are trying to find the people responsible for throwing bowling balls at passing cars in Missouri.

Treff Laplant says a bowling ball hit his pickup truck as he was driving down a busy highway near St. Louis.

The force from the ball smashed his windshield, causing $6,000 in damage.

Laplant received injuries from shards of glass cutting his arm.

Police believe the suspects were trying to get him to pull over so they could steal his pickup.
