Police say they are looking for a man who is believed to be involved in the shooting death of a mother in a northwest Houston neighborhood.

According to Houston police, 34-year-old Marion Charles Goodall faces a murder charge in the alleged killing of 38-year-old Leticia Greer.

Citing witnesses, police said Greer got into some sort of disturbance in the 2800 block of Stallings Drive late Tuesday night. Gunshots followed and the victim was found lying on the street.

Police said the suspect was described only as a black man wearing a black hoodie. They also believe the suspect left with another person in a gray Dodge truck.

Goodall, who police say also goes by "Trey," lives in the Acres Homes area. Police are also looking for the possible second person involved in the case.

Greer's family members say she recently lost her prematurely born baby during Hurricane Harvey.

Relatives also said they don't know who would want to hurt Greer, describing her as a loving and caring person.

Police urge anyone with information on Goodall's whereabouts to contact Houston PD Homicide Division at 713-308-5600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
