HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Police are hoping to learn more about who shot a man once he recovers from surgery.
A 20-year-old man was found around 11:30pm in the 5700 block of Eskridge Street at Sunnyland Street. Police say the man had a gunshot wound to the chest, but is expected to survive.
The man was taken to Ben Taub Hospital for treatment. Officers say they are not sure who shot him or why.
The victim's brother told Houston Police the shooting happened at another location.
Investigators say there was some sort of altercation before the victim was shot.
