HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The wait is almost over for Houston Texans fans who are eager to see who the team may select during the NFL draft.

A sold-out crowd of 7,000 people plan to watch the big night unfold at NRG stadium. The draft starts at 5:00pm tonight.

Fans hope the Texans pick a wining formula, adding the right players to the roster for a great season. Eyewitness Sports' David Nuo said he does not anticipate the team selecting a quarterback during the draft.

Nuo believes the team may focus on a wide receiver given Andre Johnson's departure, an offensive lineman or even a center. Nuo said no matter who the Texans select, it will take time to see if it bodes well for Houston.

"A lot of people wonder if we're going to know how good this draft was immediately," said Nuo. "You have to wait for a draft, a couple of years."

The Draft Day Party at NRG Stadium is a ticketed and sold out event. If you're going, parking is free in the blue lot on the south end of the park.
