Texans release WR Jaelen Strong after suspension for marijuana arrest

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The Houston Texans have released wide receiver Jaelen Strong after his one-game suspension related to an arrest in February 2016. Strong was appealing the decision.

Last year, Strong was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana in Arizona after officers pulled over the car he was a passenger in. Once the car was stopped, police said Strong admitted to being in possession of marijuana and gave them three marijuana cigarettes.
