HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Is the Houston Texans quarterback job open for competition?

At the NFL Scouting Combine, head coach Bill O'Brien told reporters that competition is open at every position.

"We've based our program on competition, competing in practice," O'Brien said.

Current starting quarterback, Brock Osweiler, is expected to have competition after a disappointing season.

In addition to camp in West Virginia, the Texans also announced that the team will have open practice in the Houston-area this summer.
