HOUSTON (KTRK) -- These four college students aren't just excited that their team is playing in the Final Four, they're here to bring the game back home to Syracuse University through the radio.

WAER is one of the most well-known, student run radio stations around the country.

Big names like Bob Costas and Marv Albert got their start calling the biggest games and the biggest moments at Syracuse.

"When you look at a place like this, all you can really say is wow," said student Sam Hyman.

This Final Four at NRG Stadium is senior Jay Atler's moment.

"This is massive. This is the biggest stadium I've ever been in. You just kind of lose yourself in the moment. Being a senior, this is why I came to Syracuse," said Jay of his first impression inside. "You're just taking it all in. We didn't expect to be here, I'm really just speechless."

As they sit among top broadcasters getting ready for the game, the opportunity for their futures isn't lost on them, but they're still fans.
