HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Former Houston Rockets star Steve Francis pleaded guilty to a driving while intoxicated charge in court today.
A judge ordered Francis to wear an ankle monitor after a ruling on Feb. 9 when he appeared in court after being found in violation of his bond.
Francis did not receive any jail time or probation because the state took into consideration that he voluntarily went through inpatient rehab. He was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine.
The former basketball star faced legal issues after a drunk driving arrest in November.
Francis is also facing burglary charges in Florida.
