Company makes deflate-gate soda
Deflate-gate has inspired a soda company to create a new flavor in honor of the football firestorm.

NEW BRITAIN, CT (KTRK) -- Thirsty for controversy? Now you can drink it up, as deflate-gate has inspired a Connecticut soda company to create a new flavor in honor of the football firestorm.

Avery's soda says its new "Deflated Ball Brew" is a mix of grapefruit, orange and lime and "has a little less carbonation than normal."

The soda name is a reference to the scandal surrounding the Patriots' under-inflated game balls for the AFC Championship game. The matter is still under investigation by the NFL.

The company is making only 2,400 bottles of the limited edition brew.
