HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- After one of the most entertaining offseasons in NBA history, it's time to hit the hardwood and make the quest for the Larry O'Brien Trophy.

Over the summer, we've seen Kyrie Irving traded from Cleveland to Boston, Carmelo Anthony traded to Oklahoma City to join Paul George and Russell Westbrook and the Rockets landing Chris Paul to join James Harden in the backcourt.

With all of these moves, what does that mean for the Rockets? Will they be able to compete against the Golden State Warriors, and now Oklahoma City Thunder?

The Rockets will open their preseason on Oct. 3 against the Thunder in Tulsa, Okla.
