Springer raw interview
George Springer sits down with ABC13 sports reporter Bob Slovak to talk about life as a champion and how he's giving back to the community.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- World Series MVP George Springer is enjoying life as a champion.

He's still basking in the glow of the Astros historic playoff run.

But Springer, like many of his teammates, is also focused on giving back to the community.

Sports reporter Bob Slovak sat down with Springer to discuss the outfielder's new partnership with Megabus.com.

Tuesday night, Springer and the Houston Children's Chorus will serenade kids and families who have been displaced by Hurricane Harvey.

Bob also asked Springer how those wedding plans are coming along and who he would want to play him in a movie. He says he would pick Will Smith.
