Houston native Eric Rowe comes home for Super Bowl

HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Patriots cornerback Eric Rowe is coming back home for the Super Bowl. Rowe is a Klein High School graduate who played collegiately at Utah.

His parents, Nelson and Denise Rowe, are living the dream. They are still shocked that their little boy is playing in the Super Bowl in his hometown.

"It is so exciting," said Nelson Rowe. "You never think that you would have a son who is going to the Super Bowl, and in his hometown."

"We were watching the last game, we were nervous, and then he got the interception, and we said we are going!" added mom Denise.

Eric is focused on the game, but did say that the whole experience hasn't quite sunk in yet.

"Going through this experience, it is surreal," he said.
