Former Texans player Antonio Smith being investigated in Ft. Bend Co.

RICHMOND, TX (KTRK) -- Will former Texans player Antonio Smith be charged with a crime? That's what the Ft. Bend County district attorney will have to decide.

The Ft. Bend County Sheriff's Office received a complaint of a criminal allegation against Smith in November of 2014. They didn't give many details, only saying the allegations were sexual in nature.

The sheriff's office conducted an investigation, and turned over their findings to the Ft. Bend County DA's office this past February.

Smith played for the Oakland Raiders last season. This year, he signed with Denver. He was with the Texans from 2009 to 2013.
