HOUSTON (KTRK) -- Houston Texans player Devon Still has made headlines around the country for his fight that any parent can understand -- trying to keep his daughter healthy.

Now that Leah is now cancer-free, Still is helping other families facing the same battle right here in Houston.

Still spent Friday at Texas Children's Hospital making crafts and hanging out with the young patients. He even brought along some special friends - Mickey and Minnie. Still also wanted to do something for the kids' parents, treating them to a spa day to help them relax.

He says having a sick child is one of the toughest battles you will ever face, and that it's hard to stay positive.

"It's really tough, like behind closed doors," said Still. "People are not able to see, you know, what the family is going through. A lot of the times the doctor is not bringing you good news."

This is just one part of the work Still still does for kids with cancer. He and his daughter formed the Still Strong Foundation several years ago, giving families financial assistance as they stay at the hospital.
