Cinco Ranch has 4 sets of twins
Cinco Ranch is close. Really close. (Like four sets of twins on the team close)

CINCO RANCH (KTRK) -- The Cinco Ranch Cougars are a close knit team, winners of seven straight. They'll play in the Region Final for the first time since 2009. Head Coach Don Clayton has seen his team turn it on, "Since a loss in the sixth game of the season, they refuse to lose".

The Cougars are hitting on all cylinders. It helps when you have a lot of brothers on the team. Not just brothers but twin brothers.

Cinco Ranch has four sets of twins. Seniors Zach and Chase Mersmann, Juniors Blake and Brant Kuithe, Juniors Ethan and Ryan Glass and Juniors Devin and Dylan Wygal.

Clayton says, "They all look similar, I'm glad we got numbers to help me."

"He doesn't say our first names, he can't tell us apart yet," said the Glass brothers.

It can be hard to keep straight, but brothers always push brothers to be better. Chase Mersmann always cheers his brother on, "when he makes a play, it makes me happy. It's my brother."

As for the Kuithe's, Blake's a standout defensive end and Brant, the all everything runner. They take it to a different level.

"They kind of battle each other pretty good and say, hurry up," Claton said. "I'll do this and leave that to you".

The Kuithe brothers joke they pick on each other, mentally, verbally and physically. And if they had to go one on one on the football field, who would win?

They both say they would.
