HOUSTON (KTRK) -- The Astros are hoping a little home cooking and Carlos Correa's home debut, is enough to end the team's seven-game losing streak.

The losses began the same day the Astros announced they were getting rid of "Tal's Hill" in centerfield. Some are calling it "The Curse of Tal's Hill."

Sports curses are more prominent in baseball. We all know about "The curse of the Bambino." No one really knows how to get rid of the curse though -- if there really is a curse.

We spoke to Tal Hill's namesake, Tal Smith, and he does believe you can anger the baseball gods.

The players in the clubhouse are not panicking; they believe they can work through this.
