3-on-3 basketball championship held at Fonde Recreation Center

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- The legendary Fonde Rec Center is the site of an intense 3-on-3 basketball tournament.

Hundreds of children will put their basketball skills to test in the "Harris County Street of Olympics Roundball Tournament."

Officials said the tournament teaches the kids how to compete and develop confidence and leadership skills they will need off the court.

The tournament winners will be announced Thursday.
